For even the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve...

Mark 10:45

Serving in the church is a vital part of the Christian life and a clear expression of obedience to God’s Word. Scripture calls every believer to use their God-given gifts for the building up of the body of Christ (1 Peter 4:10, Ephesians 4:12). When we volunteer, we not only meet practical needs within the church, but we also grow in humility, faithfulness, and love for others. Whether teaching a class, greeting at the door, caring for children, or helping behind the scenes, every act of service matters. Volunteering strengthens the church, blesses the congregation, and brings glory to God. Faithful service is not just helpful—it’s essential to a healthy, thriving church body.

It’s more than just fulfilling a role—it’s joining in God’s greater mission to reach people, restore lives, and reveal His glory.
